2017 Spring Fling Parties

sf17_header-01WHAT ARE

Spring Fling parties are a fun way for parents to get to know others in our Coonley community while also supporting our school. Parent-hosts donate parties and Spring Fling guests sign up to attend the parties by buying tickets.  All proceeds from the ticket sales go directly to the school through Friends of Coonley.

1. Determine the type of party you would like to host. A themed dinner in your home? A night out at a restaurant, bar, comedy club, or a group class? Something sporty? Be creative! Parties can be for parents, moms only, dads only, kids only or entire families. Depending on your proposed party, it might be best to partner with other Coonley families. Co-hosts work together to share the cost of hosting the party, help with party planning, create a buzz about the party beforehand and promote their party at the Spring Fling.

2. Select a location and date for the party.
Parties can be hosted anywhere that suits your needs. Past locations have included parents’ homes, backyards, garages or decks; restaurants and bars; spas, and bowling alleys. Parties can be held anytime from the week after Spring Fling until the end of February 2018.

3. Work with the Party Committee to finalize details. Once you’ve decided on your theme, the Party Committee will work with you to coordinate a party date to avoid overlap with other parties. The committee will also help you coordinate details like the size of your party and price per attendee.

If you are interested in hosting a party but need ideas for a party theme, co-hosts, or location – please email us with any questions. We will help you work out the details!

Thank you!
